Meet your instructor
Aya is a product designer with over four years of experience across healthcare, finance, real estate and education. She has taught UX to international students, run design jams for Singapore’s design community, and facilitated AI consultations for business owners. She designs every session so participants leave with work they can use.
Beacon 2023 · DesignSG × Better.sg
With DesignSG and Better.sg, Singapore’s largest tech-for-good charity, Aya co-designed and facilitated a Beacon 2023 workshop for 50+ participants. She gave the room space to reflect on the everyday problems elderly Singaporeans face, then guided them from those problems to solutions. Demand for a follow-up was strong enough that the team ran part two two months later.
UX lecturer · Private institute
Aya teaches UX to international students, starting with product mindset and user research. In hands-on workshops, students learn to prototype quickly in Figma and Lovable. They then build a working prototype for their own case study to use in their internship applications.
AI lightning consults · Manexus
Aya organised and facilitated an evening of knowledge sharing and lightning AI consultations for 20 business owners. Feedback was positive, and several conversations turned into business follow-ups after the event.
